When you look for a new way to make money and work home, or, let’s say an easy way to make money, you can look into something like affiliate marketing. With so many affiliate marketing websites, you might be thinking to yourself, “Yes, I have hit the jackpot!!” but more often than not, these websites turn out to be bogus and don’t give you want you wanted at all.

So, how do you know which ones to sign up for, and which affiliate website is a load of rubbish? With many affiliate marketing scams, it is not so much about getting scammed in the traditional sense, but about getting scammed out of your time and perhaps by the investment you make in the affiliate marketing program in the first place. Let’s say that you find a website that offers you an incredible referral amount for getting a certain number of people to join, you think to yourself, ” Well, why not? It is only $20 to join and I can make about $100 back in no time.” This might be all very well, but then you discover, after you join that there is actually more to it than that and that you have do to XYZ to actually receive that money.

These kinds of affiliate marketing scams are similar to what occurs in other forms of marketing, called false advertising, and are actually quite common. With affiliate marketing you have to be sure to watch out for this kind of scam.

While this is not true for all affiliate marketing programs, mostly these are the guidelines to follow, and whatever you do, don’t get duped by the testimonials and words of others that are making so much money from it. These testimonials are usually paid for and not true at all! Affiliate marketing scams are sadly quite common, which means that your search for a real way to make money easily, might only just be starting and you may never find it, or it may take years to get anywhere.

So, stop asking “what is email marketing?”, because now you know – it is a tool that businesses use to promote a product that they are looking to sell, or something they want people to use, whether it is for free or not.

You may have to lay out a huge amount of capital and spend money on marketing your affiliate marketing, which is just useless.
